COVID-19 Re-Opening
YOUR SAFETY IS OUR NUMBER 1 PRIORITY – Updated 1/2/21
Guidelines
- If you are sick, stay home
- Athletes are required to wear masks in and out of the facility. To make this easier, we provided masks to every athlete upon check in.
- Athletes should bring their own water bottle, labeled with their name.
- Athletes will maintain distancing while in the facility when possible.
- We follow all state and local guidelines, with direction from the CDC and USASF Return to all star.
- Every Member of our staff will be wearing a mask during business hours.
- Drop off: At the front of the building
- Pick Up: Behind the building near the garage door.
- Since we do not have the ability to have spectators in the gym during practices, our coaching staff will be posting videos on each team’s BAND group.
- Athletes not able to physically be at practice can participate VIA ZOOM and participate in conditioning and drills at home.
Cleaning Processes
- Lobby and high touch surfaces are disinfected in between each classes check in. This includes wiping down counters, moping floors with bleach, and cleaning restrooms where athletes wash their hands.
- Athletes do not share equipment, including tumbling on the same space as others. Athletes are given their own space for skills, and do not touch the same surfaces as other athletes.
- All equipment (Including carpet on spring floors) are disinfected after each use. This includes spraying the entire floor with hospital grade sanitizer in between classes and practices. The drying time is appx 10 minutes, which is why we have gaps in the schedule for cleaning.
Athlete Check in
- Athletes arrive in masks.
- Athletes have their temperatures checked at the door prior to entering the gym facility. Any athlete with a temperature over 99.4 will be sent home.
- Athletes sanitize hands
- Athletes will change into cheer shoes, and shoes disinfected with Lysol.
- Athletes wash hands with soap and water
- Athletes are directed to a place on the floor (separated by no less than 6’)
- After class, athletes will leave out garage door, with masks on, maintaining distancing. This exit is in the back of the building. Please pull to the back parking lot for pick up.

We will be using our attendance portal. We will know all athletes & staff who have been in our gym and will be able to do rapid contact tracing should it be suggested by the Health Department. COMING BACK TO THE GYM – WHAT WILL BE DIFFERENT?
Things will be different to how they were the last time you were in the gym, as we need to ensure distancing and athlete number limits. We will not be stunting, running routines or doing pyramids at this stage. Nor will coaches be allowed to spot any skills. You will also notice the gym floor is marked and other social distancing markers throughout the facility.
